Submit a tip to Elm Ridge Police Department
There are two options to submit tips to the Elm Ridge Police Department:
- Email mailto:tips@elmridgetx.orgtips@elmridgetx.org to send a tip directly to the department's Criminal Investigations Division
- Submit anonymously through Denton County Crime Stoppers (see below for more instructions)
If you wish to remain anonymous and submit a crime tip to Elm Ridge Police Department you may do so through our partnership with Denton County Crime Stoppers.
Denton County Crime Stoppers provides a telephone number 1-800-388-TIPS (8477) and Web Tips (http://www.dentoncountycrimestoppers.com/www.dentoncountycrimestoppers.com) to encourage citizens in the community to volunteer vital information helpful to law enforcement agencies to fight against crime.
Callers can remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward if the information given leads to an arrest or grand jury indictment of an offender.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REWARD, THE CRIME MUST HAVE OCCURRED IN DENTON COUNTY OR THE ARREST WARRANT MUST HAVE ORIGINATED FROM DENTON COUNTY.
The following persons are not eligible for a reward:
- Commissioned law enforcement officers and/or members of their immediate family;
- The crime’s perpetrator or co-perpetrator;
- The victim and/or his immediate family;
- The fugitive;
- Board members;
- Crime Stoppers staff;
- Bail Bond Personnel
